This year’s American Society of Criminology (ASC) annual conference featured a special session, Expanding the Horizons of Criminology, dedicated to the intellectual contributions to criminology of former ASC President and UCI Emeritus Professor Gil Geis. The panel featured presentations by ASC President Robert Agnew, and Professors John Braithwaite, Sally Simpson, Robert Meier, Mary Dodge (UCI Ph.D.), Richard Wright (UCI B.A.), and Henry Pontell (UCI CLS) who related comments from Paul Jesilow (UCI CLS), who could not make the trip to Atlanta.
The event was held on November 20, 2013.
