CLS Hosts Thai Delegation

Professor Henry Pontell arranged for a delegation from the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Thailand to conduct a study visit with CLS May 21-29 entitled, "Science Before Politics: Capacity Building Workshop on Justice Evidence-Based Research."  The officials were treated to first-rate presentations and discussions with faculty and students. 

The delegates met with Professors Val Jenness, Carroll Seron, John Hipp, Charis Kubrin, Sora Han, Dick McCleary, Simon Cole, George Tita, Keramet Reiter, Elizabeth Loftus, Diego Vigil, Dr. Helen Braithwaite from the CEBC, as well as graduate students Nick Branic, Adam Shniderman, Adam Ghazi-Tehrani, Adam Boessen, James Wo, Bryan Burton, Christine Champion, Alyse Bertenthal, and colleague Christine Beckman from the Merage School.
