Lead Article in ASC Flagship Journal, Criminology, by CLS members

The lead article in this month's ASC flagship journal, Criminology,  was authored by no other than CLS doctoral candidate James Wo, CLS Professor John Hipp, and CLS alumni Adam Boessen. Their article, "Voluntary Organizations and Neighborhod Crime: A Dynamic Perspective" shows that voluntary organizations indeed reduce crime in neighborhoods, but this impact is delayed and needs for long-term investment in such organizations.

Magnus received the Kugelman Citizen Peacebuilding Research Fellowship

  Congratulations are extended to Amy Magnus who is the recipient of the Kugelman Citizen Peacebuilding Research Fellowship, awarded to students whose research aims to ameliorate conflict in communities locally and abroad. The fellowship will support Amy's ongoing project, "Crossed Over or Crossed Out? Specializing Justice for Crossover Youth and Families." Congratulations, Amy!
