Emeritus Professor Ron Huff has been recognized as the 2015 winner of ASC’s August Vollmer Award which “recognizes a criminologist whose research scholarship has contributed to justice or to the treatment or prevention of criminal or delinquent behavior.” ASC President Candace Kruttschnitt noted that Ron's "ground breaking work on gangs and on wrongful convictions related to plea bargaining makes you extremely deserving of this award."
