Dean Valerie Jenness just learned that her article "Pesticides, Prisoners, and Policy: Complexity and Praxis in Research on Transgender Prisoners and Beyond" (taken from her Presidential address to PSA which spoke to the value of researchers working with practitioners) has been designated to recieve an Honorable Mention for the 2015 Distinguished Contribution to Sociological Perspectives Award from the Pacific Sociological Association.
