Congratulations are extended to both Alyse Bertenthal and Natalie Pifer on being awarded 2016 Haynes Lindley Dissertation Fellowships from the John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation for next year for their projects:
"(Un)Natural Law: Environmental Governance in the Owens Valley," Alyse Bertenthal
"Managing the Mentally Ill in Los Angeles County," Natalie Pifer
In addition, Alyse has also been awarded a highly competitive Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowship (DCF) for her dissertation work.
